This Land is Kin
Kylian Martin returns to Yass with This Land is Kin, a deeply personal new show she describes as “part tribute, part memoir, part healing”.
Raised on a farm near Yass and now based in the Northern Rivers, Kylian makes work connected to place, memory, body and return. Her materials often come directly from the land itself – charcoal, ink, earth pigments, rainwater, soil, wood, bone and ash.
This Land is Kin opens Saturday 3 October.

Life drawing returns to Tyger this Sunday
Life drawing is back at Tyger this spring, with artist Sara Phemister and model Tori Addams. Join us this Sunday 4 October, 2–4pm, for a relaxed, welcoming afternoon of drawing in the gallery. No experience needed, materials provided, beginners warmly welcome. Book one session, or join us for all three spring Sundays.
Miriam Lieberman Trio at Tyger
Join us on Sunday 29 November for an intimate afternoon concert with the Miriam Lieberman Trio.
Miriam is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and kora player whose music brings together contemporary folk, West African kora, intricate violin and three-part vocal harmonies. She’ll be joined at Tyger by Susie Bishop and Rocio Ibacache.
A rare chance to hear spellbinding live music up close, surrounded by art, in a room with beautiful acoustics.
