This Saturday afternoon, we open two new solo shows at Tyger by Alexa Kalo and Sarah Robinson.
Both artists received the 2025 Tyger New Ground Award, selected from the ANU School of Art & Design graduate exhibition. The award included solo shows at Tyger – and this Saturday, those shows open.
Alexa’s To Share sits inside the warmth of the table: food, wine, colour, conversation, cards being played, and the moment in a gathering when everyone is still there and no one is in a hurry to move.
Sarah’s Fragments moves through landscape, memory and atmosphere, offering pieces of a story but not the whole thing.
They are very different artists, with very different ways of looking at the world – and we’re very proud to be opening both shows at Tyger this weekend.
