Working with Tyger

Tyger Gallery was born out of a love of art, deep respect for the work of artists, and a passion to provide a platform for artists to thrive.

We are committed to developing the careers of artists, giving you a beautiful gallery to show works in and providing you with opportunities to build your career and practice.

We are passionate about advocating for the crucial role of the arts in Australia’s society, well-being, and economy and this starts with the way we work with you.

Prior to the acceptance of any works, we will agree in writing how we will work together and on our mutual expectations. The Tyger Gallery - Artist Agreement is based on best practice.

Our commissions for gallery and online sales are set at 33% (30% +GST). We expect that the artists we work with do not sell their works through any other gallery or store in the Yass Valley local government area.

We believe in the power of storytelling. We will passionately tell your story and the story of your art to buyers. We expect you to work with us to support the promotion of your work including sending us information promptly and participating in promotional activities that tell this story.

We will promote your work while it is managed by Tyger and we expect you to also promote both the work and its availability at the Gallery through your networks and to your audience.
