Shade is a short-run solo show by Sydney-based artist Alexandra Mills, presented as part of Tyger Projects.

Bringing together works across gouache, oil, paper and textiles, Shade looks at the play of shadow in the places around us – through gardens, windows, trees, cliffs, rain and water – and the relief we feel when we step out of the heat.

Brushstrokes is the annual show by the Thursday Art Group (U3A), bringing together more than 50 works by artists from across the Yass region.

Now in its third year at Tyger, the show celebrates the expressive power of painting through a diverse range of styles and subjects.

Pulse is a focused new show by Sydney-based abstract painter Mia Lazarus, and the first show in our Tyger Projects series.

Bringing together a concise body of new works, Pulse invites visitors to spend time with paintings shaped by poured layers, physical gesture and an intuitive process.

Petrichor is a new solo show by Tyger favourite Chantal de Kock, opening the gallery year with a deeply felt series of dreamlike landscapes. These works explore emotional memory, healing and renewal, drawing on the quiet strength of land, sky and trees as places of grounding and refuge.

Presence is a major group show of still life and figurative works, bringing together 30 outstanding artists from across Australia, working across painting, drawing, photography, textiles, ceramics and sculpture.

A Saturated Life brings together Rozalie Sherwood, Steve Tomlin and Pinal Maniar, three artists exploring memory, material and the emotional resonance of place. Through stitch, colour and fibre, the works are rich, layered and deeply felt. Artist talk Saturday 22 November.

We are proud to host the Visual Arts Society of Yass for their annual exhibition at Tyger Gallery. This vibrant community show features works from artists across our region. The exhibition opening is on Thursday 30 October at 5.30pm.

Kim Nelson was an outstanding and highly accomplished artist, an incredible community organiser and contributor, and a legend of the Australian arts scene.

2025 marks ten years since his passing - a terrible loss still keenly felt by the countless artists, art lovers, and people who knew and loved him and his work.

The Kim Nelson Retrospective at Tyger features works never seen before in a gallery by this incredible artist.

Water’s Edge is a beautiful small group show by three remarkable artists. From Suzie Riley’s textured coastal vistas to Sara Phemister’s memory-rich landscapes and Sally Rasmussen’s intricate woven forms, this show is a love letter to the places where our lives touch water – and the stories those places hold.

Queensland-based artist Hannah Goggs’ (aka Moody Rabbit) debut solo show at Tyger is a vibrant celebration in her distinctive style. The show features her signature subjects: cockatoos, eucalyptus, banksias, wattles, and bottlebrush, all rendered with affection and grace.

We are thrilled to welcome Tyger Gallery visitors’ favourite Jaqueline Burgess for her debut solo show at the gallery. Jaqueline has been a finalist in the Lethbridge 20000, a finalist in the John Villers Outback Prize and a semi-finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize.
