Slavica Zivkovic studied at the National Art School in Printmaking & Design with further Studies at the Illawarra Institute of Technology in Ceramics & Art.

Using various techniques and mediums she creates multiple layers that form a background to a personal narrative. Her imagery is embedded with symbolism and meaning that oscillate between the external and internal world.

“I am interested in the sacredness of all things and its relationship to my own sense of identity. Throughout this exploration a sense of connection to the world is revealed,” she says.

Slavica has been exhibiting for rover 30 years in both solo and group shows. She is a winner of the Swan hill Drawing Art Prize 2015, finalist in the Jacaranda Drawing Prize, a finalist in the Blake Prize (2011/2013) and was nominated by Dr Sasha Grishin for the Sovereign Art Prize Hong Kong.

Her work has been involved in several art exchange projects including Project Belgium De Ababye Brussels Belgium , the Vario print exchange exhibiting in Wales, Hawaii and various touring exhibitions.
