Living in Another World opening an out-of-this-world event

Arts journalist and advocate Barbie Robison with artist Kylie Fogarty at the opening of Living in Another World.

What an afternoon! We were so thrilled to welcome a huge crowd to the gallery for the star-studded opening of our group show, Living in Another World.

The show was officially opened with a brilliant speech from arts journalist and advocate, and co-founder of Living Arts Canberra, Barbie Robinson.

We were so happy to be joined by many of the artists in the show, including Kylie Fogarty, Valeska Tilly, Chris Sutton, Bravo Domino, Chantal de Kock, Natalie Hill, Stephanie Creigh, Cassandra Dove, Jeffree Skewes, Kim de Haan, Verity Roberts, Alan Harding, Sara Phemister, Zoe Perry, Al Phemister, Brooke Whelan, and Lorri Blackwell.

This superb show brings together 40 artists from all over the country to show us the world we know and love through an abstracted lens.

It was such a treat to have so many of the amazing artists there to talk about their work with art lovers, and what a beautiful, warm, clever and generous opening address from Barbie Robinson. We feel huge gratitude towards everyone who made the event such a joyful experience.

Living in Another World runs until 4 May at Tyger, and we’re open Thursday to Sunday. Don’t miss it!
