“[I hope people] get a sense of the joy I have when I'm creating them.” Natalie Hill

Canberra-based Natalie Hill is one of the outstanding artists in Tyger’s upcoming group show, Living in Another World.

Tyger is delighted to welcome Canberra-based artist Natalie Hill to the gallery for our upcoming abstract landscapes show, Living in Another World.

The show brings together around 40 artists from all over the country to show us the world we know and love through an abstracted lens.

Living in Another World runs from 19-28 April at Tyger Gallery in Yass. Pre-sales will be open to subscribers soon. Sign up here now to make sure you don’t miss out on your favourite works.

Natalie’s work in the show is Icelandic Aerial View, an acrylic paint, cloth, crackle and texture paste, and resin piece. It’s a beauty.

Ahead of the show opening, Natalie told us about being inspired by travel, and finding joy in creating.

How would you describe your work?

“Abstracted landscape inspired by my travels.”

Where and how do you create your work?

“I'm lucky enough to have a studio at home and my works come from play and experimenting with different materials and how they interact with each other.”

What inspires you?

“Learning new things and my travels.”

What do you hope people feel when they see your work?

“That they get a sense of the joy I have when I'm creating them. And they find something that they connect with.”

Register now for our opening celebrations of Living in Another World - Saturday 20 April, 2-4pm.
