Tyger Gallery is now inviting submissions for Presence – a curated group show celebrating still life, figurative art, and the quiet beauty of observation.

The show will run from 5 December 2025 to 3 January 2026 at our gallery in Yass, NSW.

This open call is for artists across Australia working in painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, ceramics, and small sculpture.

What we’re looking for

Presence will bring together works that explore themes of perception, stillness, and attention – art that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and look more closely. Whether through the intimacy of still life or the depth of figurative work, we want to showcase pieces that capture a moment and hold it with quiet intensity.

Why submit to presence

Held during one of our busiest exhibition periods, Presence offers artists the chance to exhibit in a professionally curated show at one of regional NSW’s leading commercial galleries.

Tyger Gallery is known for championing both emerging and established artists, and many of those we now work with regularly first exhibited with us through open-call shows like this one. Presence is an opportunity to share your work with new audiences – and perhaps with us into the future.
