Southern Ocean Blues | Emily Eldridge

A$600.00
sold out

This stunning work is acrylic on canvas and framed in oak. It is 52x54 cm.

“The oceans of the southwest are offset with bronze and golden hues of the bushes and rocks. When I walk these beaches I commit to my visual memory parts of the landscape and how it made me feel. This is then translated to my work in a flow of work- painting for hours at a time,” Emily says.

“Perfection isn't the goal (which is why I never use tape for my horizons). The goal is to recreate that feeling, that interpretation of beauty; doing the landscape justice and bringing its gorgeous light into your home.”
