Kelsie White is a self-taught painter and qualified graphic designer based in Canberra, Australia.
With a background in surface and product design, visual art, and workshop facilitation, her multidisciplinary practice reflects a deep commitment to both creative expression and community engagement.
Over the past decade, Kelsie has developed a distinct visual language through emotionally resonant acrylic and watercolour works, often inspired by themes of nature, motherhood, and personal transformation.
Her recent work explores large-scale abstracted landscapes as a means of processing life’s transitional moments, particularly her ongoing experience of early motherhood. Kelsie’s practice is rooted in the belief that art can foster connection and healing. She regularly shares her skills through community workshops, mentoring programs, and volunteer work with local arts organisations. Whether creating paintings, designing printed goods, or leading collaborative projects, Kelsie strives to create inclusive spaces where creativity can flourish.
Her work has been exhibited across Victoria and the ACT. She is currently working on artwork exploring the theme of home and motherhood. In both her studio practice and community involvement, Kelsie invites others to explore their own emotional landscapes and embrace creative exploration as a way to connect, reflect, and grow.

“When we first moved to Canberra, it was the end of Summer. We got through our first winter and as soon as the sun started shining, we booked a trip to Batemans Bay. This painting represents that first trip to the Ocean in October. It was still too cold to be there, but we were so grateful for sunshine and waves. My son picked up small pebbles and shells which I quickly stashed away and took with me, and these form the inspiration for the textures in this work.”
Kelsie White, 2025.
