  • “This collection is an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to feel into the quiet intelligence of the natural world.”

“In Water Holds Memory, I explore the sacred relationship between land, water, and stillness—how rivers remember, how rocks hold time, and how landscapes speak through texture, colour, and reflection. The paintings are born from my deep connection to the Australian environment—its resilience, its raw beauty, and its unseen stories.”

“Each piece is a conversation between what is seen and what is sensed. Flowing creeks, moss-covered boulders, and native flora become symbols of continuity and healing. Through layers of detail and gentle surrealism, I seek to capture not only what the eye sees, but what the spirit recognises: that nature is not separate from us—it is part of our memory, our body, and our becoming.”

“The still life works in this collection echo the same themes—earth-made vessels, native branches, and watchful birds become keepers of small rituals and quiet moments. They are offerings to simplicity, presence, and the art of noticing.”

“Ultimately, this exhibition is an expression of reverence—for the land, for inner stillness, and for the way memory lives not just in the mind, but in every drop, stone, and breath.”
