This piece is part of Tyger's opening exhibition, Bryter. Lani says: "This painting is very much a "found landscape" which emerged after several years. I frequently re-work paintings that have been sitting around the studio for a while. For this work, I sanded back a lot of the original work, which had thick textural areas. Sanding back revealed these geographical forms, and ended up looking a lot like mossy rocks, in an imaginary lush green landscape somewhere."
