This gorgeous painting is oil on canvas and 60x90cm. It is part of Alan’s show at Tyger, On Table and Street.

Alan says: "One of my interests is pottery and ceramics and I have many pieces which take their turn to be on display. I've got plenty of experience arranging different pieces- did it in my own shop/gallery for a long time. Partly because of this, I find still life painting very satisfying: Shapes and colours of course, but there can be a bit of a narrative to infer if you want because the objects usually have a practical use in our lives and so can imply human activity to the viewer."
