  • Beverly Moxon is a visual artist whose practice explores entanglement of human presence with the natural world. She works with fibre, textiles, and everyday objects to reimagine the familiar, often drawing attention to cycles of consumption, renewal and decay.

Graduating with a Master of Visual Arts from Charles Sturt University in 2010, Moxon has developed a practice grounded in observation and transformation—where discarded things are given new life and traces of history, memory, and environment linger in the work. Her works invite viewers to reflect on what endures, what is forgotten, and how nature inevitably finds its way back.

    Selected Exhibitions include:

Place Memory Time. Murringo Barracks Murringo NSW 2025

Life in Colour, Tyger Gallery Yass NSW 2024

Networkers at Work Macleay Valley Gallery Gladstone NSW 2024

  • “Verde, A Still Life.

“The hands of a small mantel clock, overgrown with embroidered moss, pause a moment before midnight. Once a keeper of hours, it now stands as witness, reflecting on the past and keeping watch over our presence, while the natural world moves to its own rhythm.

“In the tradition of still life in art, the work meditates on transience, memory, and the inevitability of death. The clock’s mechanical voice has fallen silent, yet nature still speaks.

“Here time is interrupted and presence lingers just before absence. A quiet reminder of impermanence, the work invites the viewer to reflect and to dwell in the interval between what is and what is about to vanish. It is a meditation on endings, beginnings, and the traces of lives left behind.”
