Montanna is an abstract artist from Maitland, NSW. She enjoys painting vast mountainsides to abstract patterns. Her mediums include acrylics, textures and oil paints.

““Get outside kids” was inspired from childhood memories of growing up on acreage in the beautiful Bolwarra Heights NSW. My mum’s property was surrounded by trees, kangaroos and the mountains in the near distance. I love the way the landscape creates a sense of freedom and serenity when being outside. We were never the type of children to be stuck inside watching television, we were told “get outside kids” go enjoy the fresh air, go play in the dirt as long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters!”

“Since a young age I’ve enjoyed portraying the Australian landscapes through painting.I used acrylics and oil pastels to create this work and my technique includes free style brush strokes with bold mixtures of colors to add depth and warmth to my paintings.”
