This beautiful piece is part of the latest group show at Tyger,  ‘I am trying to break your heart.’ Sophie says: “The air is cool, our noses are red as we walk in our big coats up the hill to enjoy the last light of the day. The chooks have been put to bed, the sheep are curled up for the night and it's time to go and enjoy some time by the warm bonfire that awaits us at home. The last light on Saturday reminds me that tomorrow I must return to my reality and what once used to be my home everyday has become a home to visit. This ephemeral sky speaks to the temporary nature of time and space and a reminder that I cannot stay here forever in a place that was once taken for granted.”
